Original 'Stone' Transcript by Sandy Harbutt and Michael Robinson & Forum Theatre World Premier Poster - 8.15pm Thursday 27 June 1974.

This 1974 poster was released by BEF and would have been displayed in cinemas to advertise the film in the lead up to the official release.

This poster was released by Heron Productions
as the film was self distributed by them, post November 1979. This was due to the five year contract with previous distributors BEF coming to an end.

Note: This is the final scene in the movie with all the GraveDiggers riding into the sunset. This scene was filmed in 1973 East of Cobar at Nyngan, NSW. The GraveDiggers stopped over at Dubbo the night before, meeting an Outlaw Club for drinks and watching the movie 'Zulu' at Dubbo Drive In.

Note: Billy Greens partner at the time Isabel Morse was the sister of Helen Morse who was married to Sandy. Sandy sought Billy's assistance to record the soundtrack. The music score took twelve months to write and Billy also played '69' in the movie Stone. Sandy wrote the lyrics to 'Cosmic Flash', taking inspiration from the American Band 'Sly and the Family Stone', with Billy rendering it with a classic rock quality.

The Stone artwork was designed by comic artist Peter Ledger and airbrushed by Errol Black.
Note: Peter Ledger won the Australian King of Pop Award for Best Album Cover Design for The Angles album 'Face to Face'.
